Ryan Zachary Braun (born July 29, 1980, in Kitchener, Ontario) is a right handed pitcher for the Kansas City Royals' AAA minor league team in Omaha. He is 6' 1" and weighs 215 lbs.
Though he was born in Canada, Braun grew up in California, and played college baseball at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He made his major league debut on September 2, 2006. He made 9 appearances during the 2006 season, and had a 6.75 ERA. In 2007 he had a 6.64 ERA. In March 2008 the Royals optioned him to their AAA minor league team in Omaha.
