Ryū Gotō

Ryū Gotō (五嶋龍 Gotō Ryū?, born 1988 in New York) is a Japanese concert violinist and the younger brother of Midori Goto. He made his professional debut in Japan at the age of seven playing Paganini's Violin Concerto No. 1, and has since performed with numerous orchestras in the United States, Europe, and Africa. He recently played a concert at the Japanese embassy in Ghana during Harvard's final examination period. He plays a 1715 Stradivarius and records under the Deutsche Grammophon label. In 2006, Goto entered Harvard University as an undergraduate.
