Ruslan Petrovych Rotan (Ukrainian: Руслан Петрович Ротань, born October 29, 1981 in Poltava) is a Ukrainian footballer. He plays in midfield for FC Dynamo Kyiv and is a starter for the Ukrainian national football team.

Ruslan Rotan's career started off for FC Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk in the 1999-2000 season. He played a total of 105 matches for Dnipro and scored 11 goals.
Rotan transferred to Dynamo in the summer of 2005 and was given the number 14. In Dynamo, he played 27 matches and scored 4 goals in the Ukrainian Premier League.
During winter break 2007-08 Rotan was transferred back to his home club of Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk. The sum of the transfer is unknown. However, he signed a 3 year contract with Dnipro. He now plays under number 29.
