Should this be linked to the Tennessee Williams play for which it's (directly or indirectly) named (The Rose Tattoo)? DS 00:07, 14 Dec 2004 (UTC)

Except that the band was probably named after a decoration on one of their girlfriends *lol* Grant65 (Talk) 14:15, Dec 14, 2004 (UTC)
Regardless of where the band got the name from, I put a disambiguation link at the top of the page. GentlemanGhost 17:55, 4 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Pete Wells

Guys, the first section says Wells died after a 'long' battle wih cancer, the final para that it was after a 'brief' battle with cancer. I don't know which is correct but it can't be both...! Cheers, Ian Rose 12:39, 9 September 2006 (UTC)

Since no-one has been able to provide enlightenment on this, I've removed for the moment both 'long' and 'brief' and said simply that he died from cancer; also merged the mention of his death in the intro with the one at the end. Cheers, Ian Rose 01:53, 25 October 2006 (UTC)
Pete Wells was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2002 and he finally passed away in March 2007, so I guess it was a long battle. News Archive '06 of Peter Gormley's Rose Tattoo Homepage

[edit] Band leader?

I removed "and slide guitarist Peter Wells." from the introducing sentence about by whom the band is led, because Wells recently passed away and therefor is unable to lead the band anymore.

[edit] Wrong Album Link

The album "Scarred for Life" listed under the discography section links to the wrong album: It links to an album of the same name by some wizard rock group. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.94.211.57 (talk) 18:07, 15 November 2007 (UTC)
