Ross Corners Christian Academy
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Ross Corners Christian Academy (RCCA) is a private school located in Vestal, New York. It holds grades Preschool-12th. It is open for all students. Its colors are blue and white. The mascot is a ram.
Ross Corners Christian Academy has had a sports rivalry with Central Baptist Christian Academy, whose colors are green and white and has a cougar for its mascot. The rivalry between the two schools shall forever continue until one school concedes, or at least until the heat-death of the earth. but that does not look likely in the near future.

[edit] History
In 1960 God gave a vision to members of this church to establish a Christian Academy as part of the greater vision of Ross Corners Baptist Church. In every case, God gave these visions to people who had a heart to serve God. Throughout hard and discouraging times, as well as, bright, hopeful and encouraging times, the work at RCBC has grown and thrived as evidence that God has been in it. God has reached beyond our little community to the world by sending many of our congregation to serve far and near. Since then it has had additions built on for additional rooms.
Ross Corners Christian Academy seeks to educate minds and transform hearts through a cohesive, Scripture-driven curriculum founded upon a Biblical Worldview and the desire to honor Christ in all academic, social, artisitic, athletic, and spiritual pursuits.

[edit] Legends
[edit] The Legend of the White Square
In the year 2002 a legend began. This legend was known as the "Legend of the White Square." It is now told that people who gather around the white square are empowered with a supernatural strength. The two founders of this power are unknown to this day. All that we know is that they belonged to the Sophomore class of 2003. These two unknown individuals swore to protect the white square with their lives. There were many attempts to violate the white square by students and faculty a like, but these two guardians did not stand for it. Sadly, nothing else is known about the white square, but a trip to view it could possibly change your life. Just remember treat it with respect, and it will treat you likewise. If you don't I dare not tell you what terrible tragedy may befall you, that is if you live to see another day.
