Rory O'Connor (filmmaker)

Rory O’Connor is a documentary maker and journalist. He is the co-author of Nukespeak[1] and co-founder of Globalvision, of which he's currently the CEO and president. He is currently living in New York City.

"He is also president and co-founder of the international media firm Globalvision, Inc, and The Global Center, an affiliated non-profit educational foundation. He has directed, written and/or produced numerous films and television programs, and served as an executive in charge of three weekly television series, South Africa Now, and Rights & Wrongs: Human Rights Television (PBS), and Children First (ABC)." O'Connor has recently started work on a new project documenting the wiki phenomenon. He began by attending Wikimania 1 in 2005 where he shot more than a dozen hours of footage, all of which is available online. All material of Wikimania is available, free of charge, for anyone to use. The hope for the end result is a "Wikimentary" - the first-ever user-generated and user-created film.
