Robert de Bethune (or Robert de Betun) was a medieval Bishop of Hereford.

He studied under William of Champeaux and Anselm of Laon before becoming a schoomaster in England. He was a canon of Llanthony Priory before 1115, and was elected prior of that house in the middle 1120s.[1]
Pope Innocent II ordered that Robert be allowed to accept the see of Hereford in 1131.[1] He was consecrated on June 28, 1131[2] at Rochester.[1]
He died on April 16, 1148[2] at Rheims while attending the Council of Rheims.[1]
