Robert S. Woods (born March 13, 1948) is an American actor.
Woods graduated from Lakewood High School, Lakewood, California in 1966, where he served as senior class president. He later joined the U.S. Armed Forces and fought in the Vietnam War, an experience that would shape his character, Bo. Woods would later graduate from California State University, Long Beach.
He has appeared on television series such as The Waltons, Roseanne, and the NBC soap opera, Days of Our Lives, but he is recognized by most for his longrunning, Daytime Emmy Award-winning portrayal of Beaufort "Bo" Buchanan on the ABC soap One Life to Live. He has played this role since 1979 (though he left the series briefly from 1986-1988).
Woods is married to actress Loyita Chapel and lives in New York.
