[edit] Merge proposal

Agree with merge proposal. Older and more properly titled "Riviera Maya" should be the article location, and "Mayan Rivera" should be made into a redirect. -- Infrogmation 00:31, 8 September 2006 (UTC)

Agree with the above. Fonatur (Mexico's Tourist Office) still promotes the area as the Riviera Maya. Cbeach1 16:07, 10 October 2006 (UTC)

I've completed the merge and redirect of Mayan Riviera into this article, leaving out the more overt tourist brochure puffery in that former article.--cjllw | TALK 02:12, 20 November 2006 (UTC)
