Formed in Chicago, Illinois in 2005 by David Lewis, Riot Act Media serves as a boutique marketing firm offering affordable public relation services to the independent music and arts community. The testament to this can be seen through the firm's efforts to offer proactive, scalable, successful, artist friendly campaigns. In November 2005 Riot Act relocated to New Haven, Connecticut. And in the spring of 2007, Riot Act relocated back to Chicago, additionally hiring Joan Hiller as chief publicist.
