[edit] Summary

This map shows roughly the route the 7th Armoured Division took to outflank the Panzer Lehr Division, thanks to the gap opened in the German frontline by the American 1st Infantry Division advance on Caumont. This map also shows general area where, during the 13th and 14th June 1944, heavy fighting took place between elements of the 7th Armoured Division, 2nd Panzer Division, Panzer Lehr Division and the Schwere SS-Panzer-Abteilung 101.

One should note that there was no 901st Division on the German Order of Battle, however this is probably a slip for Panzergrenadier-Lehr Regiment 901 of the Panzer Lehr Division.
