[edit] list of active editors?
I find the daily updates by this bot of active admins to be very useful. I was wondering if it could be possible to create daily updates of active editors in general? Say with the limitation of 100+ edits in the last 3 months? Kingturtle (talk) 16:53, 3 June 2008 (UTC)
- The mechanism the bot uses to do this wouldn't scale for users in general (it basically does a Special:Contributions for each admin - with a simple optimization so that the contributions for highly active admins aren't retrieved unnecessarily). This sounds more like Wikipedia:List of Wikipedians by number of edits. I assume 100+ edits in the last 3 months would be a very large list (10,000 users maybe?). -- Rick Block (talk) 17:25, 3 June 2008 (UTC)
Ok, thank you. Cheers, Kingturtle (talk) 17:27, 3 June 2008 (UTC)
