Richard,

Cartoon characters and comedians! Good topics.

Nice article on Don't Crush That Dwarf, Hand Me the Pliers.

I've got two suggestions for you, if you're open to them. I think they might fit your niche.

But I'm sure you've already got ideas of your own. I mostly wanted to say I like what you've done so far, especially The Firesign Theatre stuff. Brian Rock 04:21, Apr 4, 2004 (UTC)

Due to the article you did on the heights of american presidential candidates, I thought you might find this useful: 1 Rhymeless 18:49, 4 Jul 2004 (UTC)

[edit] Age category

Hello! If you are receiving this message, that means that your user page is in a specific year category. Per a recent user-category per deletion, all specific year categories are to be deleted. If you wish to continue using year categories, you have two options:

  • Using an age group category, such as Category:Wikipedians in their 30s
  • Using a decade category, such as Category:Wikipedians born in the 1970s.

If you wish, you may do both. Hopefully, this change in categorization will be quick and painless. Happy editing! --An automated message from MessedRobot 12:27, 9 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Notability of Westlight

A tag has been placed on Westlight, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. 69.123.113.89 09:30, 16 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Peer review for Duck Soup

Seasons greetings, Rick! I've just submitted Duck Soup for peer review in order to find out some better ways to improve the article's (and other Marx Brothers articles) quality. If you're interested in leaving feedback, you can go to the article's talk page and follow the link. Input is appreciated. — Cinemaniac (talkcontribs) 21:48, 30 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] AfD nomination of The Fibonaccis

An editor has nominated The Fibonaccis, an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/The Fibonaccis and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 15:59, 19 February 2008 (UTC)
