[edit] Ricky's childhood

I just learned from a KET special that at the age of 6, Skaggs appeared on stage with Bill Monroe who hung his own mandelin around Ricky's neck in a show of approval for young Ricky. The next year, at 7 he performed with Flatt and Scruggs and at 8 with Bluegrass legand Ralph Stanley. Might be an interesting addition to the article.
