Rick Renteria

Richard Avina Renteria (born December 25, 1961 in Harbor City, California) is currently the first base coach for the San Diego Padres. During his playing days, he was an infielder for the Pittsburgh Pirates (1986), Seattle Mariners (1987-88) and Florida Marlins (1993-94).
In five seasons he played in 184 Games and had 422 At Bats, 42 Runs, 100 Hits, 20 Doubles, 2 Triples, 4 Home Runs, 41 RBI, 2 Stolen Bases, 25 Walks, .237 Batting Average, .285 On-base percentage, .322 Slugging Percentage, 136 Total Bases, 4 Sacrifice Hits, 1 Sacrifice Fly and 1 Intentional Walk.
He spent the 2007 season as the manager of the Portland Beavers, a minor league affiliate of the San Diego Padres.
