Edgar Victor Gonzalez (born June 14, 1978 in San Diego, California) is an infielder for the San Diego Padres of Major League Baseball.
Gonzalez made his major league debut on May 11, 2008, when he came in the game as a defensive replacement at third base against the Chicago Cubs. He went 1-2 with an RBI in his debut.
Gonzalez is the older brother of first baseman Adrian Gonzalez, who also plays for the Padres.
