Richard Wendene was a medieval Bishop of Rochester.

He was possibly from Wenden Lofts in Essex. He was an official of the bishop of Rochester and rector of Bromley in Kent.[1]
He was elected on March 26, 1235 and consecrated on November 21, 1238. He died on October 12, 1250.[2]
