Richard Martyn Foster (born 31 July 1985 in Aberdeen) is a Scottish professional footballer currently playing for Aberdeen. Although blessed with great pace, Foster has drawn criticism for his lack of technical ability. He has, however, made significant progress this season, impressing with a string of man-marking performances, particularly in the full-back positions. Recently he has become noted for his ability to score spectacular long range goals.
