Derek Young (born 27 May 1980 in Glasgow) is a Scottish professional footballer currently playing for Scottish Premier League club Aberdeen.
Young started his career with current club Aberdeen before having spells with Dunfermline Athletic, St. Johnstone and Partick Thistle before rejoining Aberdeen in July 2007[1].
His brother Darren is also a professional footballer.
