RGRTA 1001-1014

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Rochester-Genesee Regional Transit Service buses 1001-1014 are Orion "V" 05.501s that were built in 1990. These were replacements of Rochester-Genesee Regional Transit Service's Flxible New Look's 501-506, and 507-577. All buses were gone as of 2006 just when Rochester-Genesee Regional Transit Service's Gillig "Advantage" T-40 units 721-739 came along.

[edit] Overall Notes

  • These were also the first equipped with a Luminator Mega:MAX model destination sign.
  • These buses were also retrofitted with bike racks later in their time.
