Reza Moridi (born in Orumieh, West Azerbaijan, Iran) is a Canadian politician, and the first Iranian-Canadian elected to a provincial or federal legislature.[1] He was elected to the Legislative Assembly of Ontario in the 2007 provincial election, representing the riding of Richmond Hill. He is a member of the Liberal Party.
Moridi, a physicist, was educated at Brunel University in the United Kingdom. He is of Iranian Azeri origin.
