My name is Jennifer García Green. I recently finished my bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering at UPRM. I also started on a Ph.D. at the Georgia Institute of Technology, but I'm getting tired of studying so I may begin looking for work soon. Besides being an engineer, I'm also an aspiring illustrator and graphic designer.

My first illustration for Wikipedia was the Puerto Rican shrew. This illustration was created using only fossil data, since the entire family of this species has been extinct for several hundred years.

My second illustration, for Cartesian Theater, was recently promoted to a featured picture on Wikimedia Commons. I'm very proud of that picture (even though it is a little cheesy) and am happy that my work was recognized.

While I finish up the semester I'm not working on any illustrations, but I may pick it up again in the future.
