- Supporting evidence: New and apparently single-purpose account that has recently made a series of disruptive edits (edit warring, POV-pushing, original research, using non-reliable sources to push a POV) on Pallywood, an article that is currently under general editing sanctions following the outcome of Wikipedia:Requests for arbitration/Palestine-Israel articles (diffs: [1], [2], [3]). I counseled the user on the applicable policies in the assumption that it was a genuinely new user ([4]). He/she replied on my talk page that he/she was not in fact a new user ([5]). It seems apparent that this is a sockpuppet account and I'm concerned that this may be an attempt at evading a block or topic ban by one of the editors already sanctioned. Requesting a CU to verify whether or not this is the case. -- ChrisO (talk) 19:20, 7 March 2008 (UTC)
- I think its a legitimate concern, but without someone to compare to its basically a fishing expedition. There is nothing obvious that I can easily find here. Thatcher 03:14, 8 March 2008 (UTC)
