[edit] Questions for the candidate
Dear candidate, thank you for offering to serve Wikipedia as an administrator. It is recommended that you answer these optional questions to provide guidance for participants:
- 1. What admin work do you intend to take part in?
- A: I will revert vandalism or unintentional vandalism and help resolve conflicting edit disputes. Also I will try to explain the basics of WP:MOS to Wikipedians who make edits that don't comply with these type of Wikipedia guidelines.
- 2. What are your best contributions to Wikipedia, and why?
- A: My best contributions in Wikipedia have been in music articles. Usually, I organize music articles page by re-organizing and re-writing ideas which need some grammar improving and understanding. Some good examples include the following music articles: One Minute, Gimme More, Never Again, Potential Breakup Song and So Small. Also, I retrieve permanent sources for Billboard chart positions. Finally, I recover the dates in which sources were found and their information, which were not included when the original Wikipedian added the source. These contributions helped Wikipedia by keeping the articles clean, flawless, reliable and easy to view and understand.
- 3. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or have other users caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
- A: Yes, when I started my Wikipedia page I had editing conflicts with a user, whose name I will keep private, on the music article Candyman. I think we never got to resolve those problems, since by then I was an unexperienced Wikipedian. However, during my time editing on the music article Never Again, I had editing conflicts with Extraordinary Machine. Instead of waging an edit war, he helped me understand that my edits did not comply with WP:MOS. I thanked him for his help, as he provided me with the link to the guidelines. Later on, I consulted him with some questions I had about Wikipedia and he always helped me out, and then we became friends. In the future, I will try to help unexperienced Wikipedians by correcting them and explaining to them their mistakes with respect and avoiding any further conflicts.

Oppose
- Oppose — your participation in the Wikipedia namespace is almost non-existent. Please participate at XfDs and areas such as WP:AIV and WP:UAA before trying again in the future. Also, you can revert vandalism, solve editing disputes, and teach others to follow the Manual of Style guidelines without admin tools. --Agüeybaná 03:31, 16 September 2007 (UTC)
- I'm sorry but there is a clear lack of experience on Wikipedia. I strongly suggest you withdraw this nomination, spent a little more time editing, and I'm sure you'll succeed. Also, looking at your talk page, please familiarize yourself with WP:NFCC. Cheers. --DarkFalls talk 03:34, 16 September 2007 (UTC)
- Oppose - Unfortunately, I have to oppose at this time. As Agueybana and DarkFalls mentioned above, I suggest you be active in Xfds. That should provide cruciant experience on Admin tools. --Hirohisat Kiwi 03:52, 16 September 2007 (UTC)
- Oppose- Sorry, but you need more experience in admin related areas, such as, WP:AIV and reporting for WP:RFPP. Feel free to try again when you have more experience in the categories we have listed. Best Regards, Icestorm815 05:10, 16 September 2007 (UTC)
