Amaraiel (talk · contribs) - Like many other great candidates before me, I am a fairly low profile editor, alas my forte lies in the Recent Changes Patrol and I am currently working on several projects. Like all administrators, I am still learning and integrating into the community. You can most likely find me in the Recent Changes section or if not there in the backlog. Dear candidate, thank you for offering to serve Wikipedia as an administrator. It is recommended that you answer these optional questions to provide guidance for participants:

1. What admin work do you intend to take part in?
A: I intend to continue my work keeping Wikipedia in a professional and cleanly atmosphere and doing what I do best in Recent_Changes_Patrol. Additionally, I am driven to make sure that good edits make their way to articles, while 'bad' edits are given a chance and then reverted.
2. What are your best contributions to Wikipedia, and why?
A: My best contributions have been keeping Wikipedia clean (in the words of my (hopefully) future mentor Dynaflow: 'remember -- just report and revert'.) I have reverted countless acts of vandalism, kept watch, and given my advice to the community.
3. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or have other users caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
A: Yes there was a time when I joined Wikipedia that I was in a conflict, and it did add stress to my day, but after talking it out with the parties involved (see:My May 2007 Talk Page Archives) it was resolved and I am on more then good terms with everyone involved to this day.
