[edit] West Metro

According to the newest SydneyLink document by the NSW Government, the CBD Rail Link will be incorporated into a proposed metro named "West Metro", which includes a metro line from Parramatta to CBD, then up to North Sydney and Chatswood via a second harbour crossing. There are no more details about this however. --Pikablu0530 (talk) 06:42, 18 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Project cancelled

On 19 March 2008, the project was cancelled at the time of the announcement of the North West Metro. It has subsequently disappeared from the TIDC and CityRail websites. A future second harbour crossing may reappear in the form of a 'West Metro' however that project will likely be substantially different in form and route. Quaidy (talk) 10:49, 22 March 2008 (UTC)
