Talk:Recruitment in the British Army

I did not concern myself with historical facts or data; only on redundant contents and re-writing as neccessary. Babyrina2 06:47, 8 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Assessment
I have assessed this article as start per the Milhist criteria. This was primarily due to its lack of inline citations, see Wikipedia:Citing sources. We can't have bare external links in the text. I also think it can be expanded a lot in places, particularly WWII and WWI. I think you need to move the text in the National service article into a new article: Recruitment into the British Army during World War Two. That article should be developed and then summarised using summary style. If you have any questions, my talkpage is always open. Woody (talk) 14:20, 14 April 2008 (UTC)
- Current debate on whether to cap numbers of recruits from Commonwealth countries should also be added, also refer to specific exceptions to recruiting in the UK such as Gurkhas, I believe that there's a reasonable number of Fijians currently in teh Army too.
