[edit] Addition to Bible
Please stop adding nonsense to Wikipedia. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Brian0918 (talk • contribs) 02:47, 22 March 2006
- Er... don't take that comment personally; I don't think User:Brian0918 realized the backronym of Bible as Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth, as you added. However, we did end up removing your addition — please keep in mind when editing that Wikipedia is an encyclopedia and has a few guidelines that are important to understand before you dive too much into editing articles. I'd suggest starting out at Wikipedia:Tutorial for some good starting tips. Glad to have you here, and feel free to leave me a note on my talk page if you have any questions. That backronym is not common, nor historic, and is only for the English language and most of all not appropriate. Cuteness isn't appreciated either. People take these posts seriously, please take it seriously as well.(AstralisLux 08:12, 23 March 2006 (UTC))
[edit] License tagging for Image:27036420.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:27036420.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 05:05, 3 June 2007 (UTC)
