[edit] Fashionology LA

Hi.. this was deleted because it's not an encyclopedia article. It looks like.. I don't know, random graffiti? I can't even tell what it's trying to be about. Friday (talk) 20:26, 2 June 2008 (UTC)

Oh, now I see what it's about, but it's blatant advertising. Friday (talk) 20:31, 2 June 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Speedy deletion of Fashionology LA

A tag has been placed on Fashionology LA, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. ~~ N (t/c) 20:30, 2 June 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Speedy deletion of Elizabeth wiatt

A tag has been placed on Elizabeth wiatt requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.

[edit] Elizabeth wiatt

Please stop re-creating this page, it's already located at Elizabeth Wiatt proper capitalization and no matter how notable she may be, she doesn't need two pages. TravellingCarithe Busy Bee 21:41, 2 June 2008 (UTC)

To be fair, the redirect had been deleted as an implausible typo (huh?) and Rdeluca03 may not have realized the page had been moved, not deleted outright. ~~ N (t/c) 21:46, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
The first time, maybe but s/he's re-created it several times, as well as another article that has been speedied three times today. The good faith assumption is wearing out. TravellingCarithe Busy Bee 00:27, 3 June 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Conflict of interest

Please read Wikipedia's conflict of interest policy, thanks. Gwen Gale (talk) 00:44, 3 June 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Your article

The best way is to make sure the article is very well sourced. Also, keep in mind the conflict of interest issues. Take a look at WP:BIO if you want for some guidelines on biographies. Friday (talk) 18:29, 3 June 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Proposed deletion of Jamie Tisch

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Jamie Tisch, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Do you want to opt out of receiving this notice? Justpassin (talk) 20:07, 3 June 2008 (UTC)
