[edit] "Hated" vs. "Disapproved of"

"Hated" was based on (not a direct quote from) a statement by, I think, Rayner Unwin himself. He didn't disapprove of the idea, he detested it. Perhaps "Disapproved of" should be changed to "detested", or some other term equally indicative of Tolkien's level of disapproval? — Editor at Large ( talk) 03:12, 16 September 2006 (UTC)
