Talk:Ramin Jahanbegloo
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Can someone who understands what this means please render the following sentence from the article into idiomatic English?
- He is one of the first philosophers in Iran who started to talk about Philosophical Sources of Nonviolence thinking.

- Presumably it means something like: He was one of the first Iranian intellectuals to advance the philosophy of nonviolence. But of course I'm taking that just from context, not from any independent knowledge of his work.--Pharos 22:41, 4 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Azeri?
Is he an ethnic Azeri? The ending of his surname -begloo is Turkic.--Eupator 18:00, 30 August 2006 (UTC)
