[edit] Former and current hotels

I was unable to find any information about the former hotel; however, I do see that there is a currently operating restaurant by the name of Ram's Head Inn. The restuarant's site doesn't mention Ram's Island by name, but rather describes its location as Mystic Island (though on the map it's clear that Ram's Island refers to a causeway-connected peninsula on the edge of shelter island). [edit] Wrong Coordinates and Info Confirmation

The coordinates listed are wrong, they are for New Haven, Connecticut. The actual Ram Island is located near New London, Stonington, and Groton, about 2 miles offcoast from Connecticut. Also, here are a couple of articles that mention both Ram Island and the Ragsdales:
