Rainer Klaus Wirth Castro (born October 25, 1982) is a Chilean goalkeeper. He started his career with Universidad Católica youth system and made his professional debut with the team as well. After spending some of 2006 with Primera B club Temuco, he joined rival side Colo-Colo, where he has made two appearances. Prior to being signed by Colo-Colo before the 2007 Apertura, Wirth spent some time in England to try out with Manchester City. He played in the first leg against Real Potosí in the Copa Sudamericana 2007 and made a few spectacular saves to keep the game tied at 1-1.
