I think in "the media" section, his protests against M.F.Hussain can be added primarly because it was a successful one. It ended up in kerala high court stopping the award. and i have also added media references to that. There was a cnn-ibn interview on the Hussain issue, i didnt get it. It can also be added (116.68.66.104 (talk) 22:51, 10 April 2008 (UTC))
More news can be added in this section, to user 116.68.66.104. (Niketsundaram1977 (talk) 22:57, 10 April 2008 (UTC))
Will try to add more (116.68.66.104 (talk) 22:59, 10 April 2008 (UTC))
User 116.68.66.104, You can add more info on the news sites regarding the media section in this article. When I googled, i found some news, blogs and analysis regarding the Hussain issue in it. May be you can add that too. (Niketsundaram1977 (talk) 23:21, 10 April 2008 (UTC))
Included a news item from kerala on his arrest and his profile and I think there is a lot of information which are in-cite textations in the article. I urge the editors to connect the content with the references. (Niketsundaram1977 (talk) 21:58, 16 April 2008 (UTC))
A photo if it is in database can be added.
[edit] Wikipedia is not a advertising portal
Wikipedia is not a place for self advertisements and for putting the opinion of people. Discuss why a persons view and opinion should be placed on wikipedia.Otherwise the spamming will be reported to the moderators. Thank you. (Nitinsunny (talk) 15:07, 10 March 2008 (UTC))
- Nitinsunny -- please do not blank large amounts of content without providing an Edit summary, or else it is very difficult to tell whether you are being helpful (by removing advertising) or being destructive.
- In addition, while on further review I see that a lot of the content you blanked was shameless self-promotion, there were also a number of links to BBC articles, etc., that seemed to provide context about the subject and I am not sure if those should have been removed.
- I am going to leave your changes for now, because it does seem that, overall, you are right that this article was being used for self-promotion. In the future, though, please be more careful about what you delete and also be careful to always use Edit summaries. Thanks! --Jaysweet (talk) 17:59, 10 March 2008 (UTC)
Will use the edit summary next time . Thanks for the support.

The page here had contained materials which had authentic sources. Many links to news sites had relevant details. BBC article had mention about the controversies there. One cannot delete because one doesnt accept such view points. An article of such wide coverage should not be blanked and links to such international reputed organisations should not be avoided. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ashrafmedia (talk • contribs) 20:15, 11 March 2008 (UTC)
The article , after reading gives the feelig that this is either the work of the person itself , or a person assosiated wih him. As mentioned earlier , I dont undertsand the relevance of a persons view on a certain issue as a subject for being included in wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a advertising portal. I am not asking i delete it but to edit to an extent that people dont feel it is a spam. Thank you
Nitinsunny (talk) 15:13, 12 March 2008 (UTC)
The article should be re-written in a new format as suggested by some of the earlier authors who went through it. I feel it should be written more in sections. It should be edited more properly so as to trim it to the guidelines of wikipedia. (Ashrafmedia (talk) 15:22, 12 March 2008 (UTC))
[edit] Factual errors
citation is not given for the year of birth. Some factual errors are there, and I believe he was out of kairali after issue with sudhakaran. I saw it in news (Niketsundaram1977 (talk) 07:01, 13 March 2008 (UTC))
- What do you mean by Media personality? The Hindu news very clearly says that he is a VJ. It is better not to add peacock term like ‘media personality’. --Avinesh Jose T 07:12, 13 March 2008 (UTC)
The term VJ might not be very proper for we dont use a person who does interviews and news analysis a VJ. In the broadest sense it is right. But we here in India, usually associates it with music. The Hindu report is only about Kiran channel where as, as the earlier author mentions, he also did programmes in kairali, some interviews, reporting and news analaysis. SO i doubt whether it can be a peacock term. Your comments please. (116.68.65.74 (talk) 12:03, 13 March 2008 (UTC))
