Are there any updates about his criminal proceedings?

On the subject of his criminal stuff, the article says: "the release of a video tape in February 2002 that showed Kelly and a 14-year-old". Do we have to stick the word allegedly in there somewhere? I am not a legal expert. Akamad 11:50, July 26, 2005 (UTC)
Yes, probably a good idea. Kelly has not been convicted of any crime and I presume this tape would be illegal if the girl really is 14. At least, in most jurisdictions. --Yamla 13:07, July 26, 2005 (UTC)

Does anybody know what the outcome of the Chicago pornography charges were? Have they gone to trial yet?

I don't understand. How can that be considered a bad song???!!! It's a great song! What could you possibly criticize? Great Lyrics, Great Music, Great singing? Um, I think those would be good things.
The vh1 show concerned bad love songs. "Great Lyrics" is a very subjective statement?!? It is a song that you would play at a wedding reception? I think not.

No, it doesn't. If people are interested in MF and IT then they'll add information to those pages. Plus wikipedia doesn't need to economize on space.

This sounds more like an pundit's jab at Kelly's personal life. It's also the title of an unauthorized biography of R. Kelly. You have paragraph which begins by chronicling his arrest over child abuse then meanders into how many millions of records he has sold. For God's sake get a brain, cretins. If you're going to protect the page at least have the mentality to clean it up before you do so.

First of all Kellz #1 Fan. As for your assertion that the girl probably told R Kelly that she was older than she actualy was, get a clue. The girl in the video is his goddaughter. Do you think he doesn't know how old his own goddaughter is? Second of all, if this is all a plot to trap him, why are the girl and her parents denying it is even her on the tape. My guess is Kelly has probably paid them off. And third, if it was your daughter it was your daughter in that video, I think you would have a very different view of R Kelly and his music. Wake up! This man is a predator and he needs to be held accountable for his actions. And furthermore, people like you are part of what is wrong with this country now. I guess ignorance really is bliss.
