[edit] Square TV?

This is the first time I've ever heard of such a genre (and I don't agree that Equalizer belongs to it was it's described here). Can someone provide a link or a source to back up this claim? If not, as it stands now it's POV. 23skidoo 19:27, 17 December 2005 (UTC)

I've never heard it before either. --DanielCD 22:03, 17 December 2005 (UTC)
Square TV doesn't exist, it's a figment of the author's imagination. If you Google "Square TV" and "Quincy" you only get 2 relevant results; this page and the one linked to by the author. Anyway, just about every cop/crime show of the 70s sensationalised youth culture at some point.172.169.182.119 16:30, 20 April 2006 (UTC)
I've deleted it. If someone wants to argue that it belongs here, I invite them to state their case in this thread, and provide links or other sources to prove there's any notability to this. I'm going to check The Equalizer and see if a similar reference exists there and removed it too, for now. 23skidoo 19:34, 20 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] what was quincys middle name

(Reply to above unsigned question). We never heard his first name mentioned. I don't think a middle name was ever mentioned, either. 23skidoo 17:15, 22 January 2006 (UTC)

Isn't it Frank? Guv2006 20:00, 9 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Quincy Triva and Goofs

  • Goof-one epsiode has Quincy and Sam trying to stop a funeral of a millionaire who they realize had been frozen; there is a close up shot of Quincy and Sam in their car; then a long shot of Quincy alone in the car; then a close up shot of Quincy & Sam in car!
  • Cut scenes-in one epsiode when Quincy reconstructs a murder from 1 human bone there are cut scenes in syndicated version-such as when Quincy points out the textbooks his students use are out of date and when he uses his "Coroner's Badge" to trys to get the Police to help him in the investigation; in another Quincy discovers the deceased was in Witness Protection program-the cut scene is where Quincy recognizes face of victium from a reconstruction sketch
  • Recycled material-at least 4 times "Quincy" used old material:
    • One epsiode when Quincy finds a bullet and saves a Rookie Policeman career-came from a epsiode of Dragnet {TV Series}!
    • Two epsiodes had airplane crashes.
    • Two Epsiodes had Nazi war criminals.
    • Two epsiodes had dead persons who had been in witness protection program

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Quincy.JPG

Image:Quincy.JPG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 03:39, 6 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Quotes

We need to add the episode or something to the quotes. They don't seem to be worded exactly right and some are odd and don't seem to be notable (or understandable) as they stand. I also removed a trivia item that seemed non-notable. --DanielCD 18:08, 12 October 2007 (UTC)
