[edit] Rewrote the Article
I just added a bunch of information on the different programs. This is my first time writing for wikipedia so if I'm doing anything HORRIBLY wrong (or even slightly) please gimme a shout and tell me how i can correct it. Otherwise, just go nuts fixin' things. Emarchak 19:36, 15 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Improve NPOV
Just added a little detail to the building history... but there's a number of places that need some editing to improve NPOV.
- Although a Queen's student myself, wouldn't it be a bit biased to say "the most prestigious business school in Canada"? I propose changing it to "It is considered to be among the most prestigious business schools in Canada" and find a citation or two to support that statement.Adityan 03:20, 5 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Peacock Terms
Someone may need to take a look at this article and proof it for peacock terms, as well as some weasel words. See WP:WEASEL WP:PEACOCK. Ithinkhelikesit 20:48, 12 December 2006 (UTC)
I Disagree Entirely. Being a commie, I have read all of this before. Except for the one line "most presitigious" business school in Canada, but even that I could back up with Businessweek rankings if I really had the energy to fight it. Unless you can provide some specifics, I'm removing the headline.Hawkeye885 00:22, 29 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Oldest Business School
Reading over the article, it states that the Queen's School of Business is the oldest business school in Canada, being founded in 1919. Yet HEC Montréal was founded in 1907, thus making it the oldest/first management school in Canada, not Queen's. 66.130.239.97 15:57, 4 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Concern
all rankings are last year's. PrincetonReview rated Queen's Business as 60/100. Either remove PrincetonReview or keep it updated. As well as BusinessWeek, we need latest not 2006. Gk89 (talk) 16:01, 3 April 2008 (UTC)
- There have been no new rankings since 2006, as BusinessWeek ranks its programs on a semiannual basis, and the 2008 rankings have not yet been released. PrincetonReview does not release an overall ranking of schools, instead ranking each school on a number of different criteria, such as 'admissions selectivity' or 'academic quality'. You quote the 60/99 that the school received for selectivity, but note that it received a 76/99 for 'academic quality'. The PrincetonReview website encourages not to use its rankings to determine an overall score for any given school. Applicable rankings will be placed on the Wiki as they are released. 130.15.32.97 (talk) 21:58, 20 April 2008 (UTC)
