Quentin Moses (born on November 18, 1983 in Athens, Georgia) is a professional American football defensive end for the Miami Dolphins of the National Football League. He as originally drafted by the Oakland Raiders in the third round of the 2007 NFL Draft. He played college football at Georgia.

[edit] High School Career
Moses attended Cedar Shoals. He was a prepStar All-Southeast Region, Atlanta Journal -Constitution Top 50 in Georgia, and named to Athens Banner-Herald All-Northeast Georgia team senior season as a defensive lineman.

Moses redshirted in 2002. As a redshirt freshman in 2003, he was a third-string defensive end and played in all 14 games. He was named to the SEC All-Freshman first team by the SEC coaches and The Sporting News. In 2004, as a backup, Moses had 23 total tackles including 6.5 sacks and 7.5 tackles for loss as well as being a member of the 2004 SEC Academic Honor Roll. In 2005, he took over the starting position. He recorded 11.5 sacks and was named a member of the first team All-SEC by the Associated Press and the SEC Coaches, named All-America third team by Rivals.com, and was a member of the SEC Academic Honor Roll. Heading into 2006, Moses was named to the Bednarik Award Watch List, a pre-season All-America first team, All-SEC first team, and SEC Defensive Player of the Year by The Sporting News. At the end of the season, he was announced as a third team All-American. Ironically, however, he made neither the first, or second, team SEC. Those who received the awards were not given All-America honors.

[edit] NFL Career
Drafted by the Oakland Raiders with the first pick in the third round, Moses was cut on September 1. He was claimed off waivers by the Arizona Cardinals on September 2, 2007. Moses was released by the Cardinals on October 16, 2007. He was signed by the Miami Dolphins on October 23, 2007.
Moses recorded his first career full sack on November 26, bringing down Ben Roethlisberger during a Monday Night Football game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
