[edit] Vandalism?

Why should I discuss something in the site I created? (in the Miss Sweden section)

[edit] Captain Planet

About the nonsense reverting thing you're doing:

--Bolt (Talk) 14:48, 4 April 2008 (UTC)

Looks like you like to ruin others' people work. You went around all my articles (well, at least the one I have on my user page... lucky me I din't listed all of them there) putting your unreferenced banner without reason, then you ask one article to be erased (which is fine by me, by the way). Pretty strange form of editing you have, my friend, specially when you take your time to challenge my articles (which are right). Greetings, and excuse my poor English. Bolt (Talk) 17:15, 5 April 2008 (UTC)
Thanks for not taking my commentary too seriously. I sometimes use the irony without notiicng it, and that can result offensive to some people. --Bolt (Talk) 12:48, 6 April 2008 (UTC)
Now, really, you hat eme? You proposed Ikki to deletion! I mean, let me breath. I don't care about Challenge or Time Limit, but you're just checking all my contributions just to mark them as incorrect! Oh, by the way, you forgot to put a unreferenced tag on FM Federal. [edit] RE: Ikki article deletion

Considering that I have substantially referenced, and improved Ikki (video game), and you've stated in the AFD "Article has improved greatly (as I hoped it would) since nomination. Notability has improved.." Would you consider withdrawing your nomination for the article? Notwithstanding the need for more English language links, I believe the notability has been clearly established. AtaruMoroboshi (talk) 15:23, 10 April 2008 (UTC)

An admin will have to close the discussion. Most likely the decision will be to keep. ~QuasiAbstract (talk/contrib) 16:11, 10 April 2008 (UTC)
Thanks for the response. Just a note, you can formally withdrawn your nomination if you choose to do so. From wp:afd "If the reasons given in the deletion nomination are later addressed by editing, the nomination should be withdrawn by the nominator, and the deletion discussion will be closed by an admin. If the nominator fails to do it when you think it should have been done (people can be busy, so WP:AGF on this point), leave a note on the nominator's talk page to draw their attention." AtaruMoroboshi (talk) 16:19, 10 April 2008 (UTC)
I don't know if I'm overlooking something (I could be, as I overlooked that information you just gave me), but I haven't been able to find HOW to formally withdraw the nomination. ~QuasiAbstract (talk/contrib) 09:11, 11 April 2008 (UTC)
Just strike out your original nomination, and make a statement saying the article improvements satisfied your concerns. An admin will close it shortly after that. AtaruMoroboshi (talk) 10:37, 11 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] link discussion

  • Hiya. =) As someone who's taken an active role in the quality of List of Heroes graphic novels, I thought you might want to chime in one way or another in the discussion about including links to artists and writers. Whether you think the links are a good idea or not, your input would surely be welcome. --Centish (talk) 01:37, 8 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Talk Page

While generally I don't think material on talk pages should be deleted, when that material does not contribute to the discussions and may in fact be injurious to a person, I feel that there is a certain obligation to remove it. What is Wikipedia's policy regarding this kind of thing? Theshibboleth (talk) 17:52, 3 June 2008 (UTC)

You're probably right about it not having been a sincere comment. Still, I kind of question this automatic appending of IP addresses to comments. It seems like the only case where it is helpful is if you have a long discussions with more than one person who does not have a username. Otherwise, it's almost like you're breaching a person's privacy (even though the IP is available in the history). They probably didn't post any sort of signature intentionally, but the bot acts irrespective of their intent. Theshibboleth (talk) 20:53, 4 June 2008 (UTC)
Yeah... maybe there could be some sort of unique identifier linked to an ip address, and maybe only administrators can see the actual ip address... Theshibboleth (talk) 07:55, 5 June 2008 (UTC)
I posted something on the Village Pump. Theshibboleth (talk) 10:11, 5 June 2008 (UTC)
