[edit] Error
Ehm... I think that there is an error... the article says: This game was later ported to the Playstation as Psychic Force 2, featuring downgraded graphics but multiple extra modes and the three characters from Psychic Force that didn't make the cut into the sequel. There was also a Puzzle Bobble style puzzle game released that was known as Psychic Force Puzzle Taisen. Neither of these two games were ever released outside Japan, though Psychic Force 2012 was released in the US and Europe. Well, I live in Italy and I saw PF2012 in a penny arcade.. then I bought a PAL (European) version of Psychic Force 2 for Playstation. So, I suppose that PFPT never went out of Japan, but PF2012 AND PF2 did. Bye!
[edit] There's something wrong with their ages.
I noticed this when looking at their birthdates—Burn was born in 1988 and is 18 years old, but Keith was born in 1993 and is ... also 18?
For most of the characters it's consistent—the first game I'm betting took place in 2006. That would make Burn's age/birthdate accurate. But for:
Brad: 1980 + 24 = 2004
Keith: 1993 + 18 = 2011
Genma: 1952 + 53 = 2005. His is the only one which can't plausibly have a skew of 1 year, because his birthday is January 1 and the subtraction (2006 - birthyear - age) will always equal 0.
Does anyone have an official character data book?

- Sorry to confuse matters even more, but I remember reading somewhere that the game takes place during the year 2010. I've searched around a little, and this seems to be confirmed by the summary for Psychic Force on MobyGames. Obviously this isn't a valid source, so I'll check around a bit more. UPDATE: It's also refered to as "Psychic Force 2010" by a user on the Amazon page of the OVA, and on the GameFAQs page of Psychic Force 2 there's a secret which also refers to the past game as "Psychic Force 2010". Again, they're not good sources, but it seems a rather big coincidence that they all point to the same year. Hope it helps you in understanding this age dilemma.
