[edit] Alternative to?

It's not likely, despite the quoted source, that the Army was looking, in the 1980s, for an alternative to feathers, but rather to other synthetic fibers, which somehow were not adequate. Would be much more interesting to say why the artificial fibers were inadequate.24.6.66.149 (talk) 12:10, 19 March 2008 (UTC)
