[edit] Merge

The three PRIDE Grand Prix 2005 events are actually closer to being a single event with three parts, as such I believe the Grand Prix should be covered like 2006 NBA Finals with a single article rather than (up to) seven different articles. It makes more sense to cover the beginning and end of an event in one article. After merging, the article would be renamed 2005 PRIDE Grand Prix. I am proposing similar merges for all other PRIDE Grands Prix. hateless 01:45, 15 January 2007 (UTC)

If the other tags would redirect to the new article, I see no problem with this. DestradoZero 00:10, 24 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Keep Separate

I agree with what Hateless is saying for the most part. However, most of these events (Critical Countdown, Final Conflict) include many other matches, sometimes of great importance (CroCop vs Fedor during FC 2005). I don't mind having a note at the top of each page for a larger article entitled "PrideGP 2005 Middleweight" (as is the name on the mat during the 2005 tournament, plus the round - First Round, Final Conflict, etc..) that describes the Grand Prix in greater detail, but IMO these shouldn't be listed under Total Elimination 2005. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Toodiesel (talkcontribs) 18:54, 5 December 2007 (UTC)
