The Precipitous Mountains are a mountain range on northern Baffin Island, Nunavut, Canada.[1] It lies in, or near, the Sirmilik National Park and is a subrange of the Arctic Cordillera which is the only major mountain system in Canada east of the Rocky Mountains.
