Poggiomarino is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Naples in the Italian region Campania, located about 25 km east of Naples. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 20,516 and an area of 13.3 km².[1]
The municipality of Poggiomarino contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Flocco and Fornillo.
Poggiomarino borders the following municipalities: Boscoreale, Palma Campania, San Giuseppe Vesuviano, Scafati, Striano, Terzigno.
