Structures, docks branches and closed halts omitted for clarity

>This is a route-map template for a UK railway.

For information on use of this template, refer to Wikipedia:Route diagram template, for pictograms used see Wikipedia:Route diagram template/Catalog of pictograms.

Note: This diagram has several features omitted in an effort to keep it to a sensible size. In particular the halts and viaducts in the triangles at Laira, Friary and pennycomequick each would add two more lines. The extentions from Friary and Millbay to the adjacent docks are also left off for simialr reasons, although this has also caused the loss of the GWR Sutton harbour line.

All these features are fully covered in their relevant line diagrams – this diagram is intended only to give an overview of the area on the main station pages.

For deatils about the local railways, see Railways in Plymouth.
