I vote that we merge this with plumbline, and preferably keep that name as it seems more common. The other uses are marginal (and derivative), so it seems wiser to make this the main page. Drernie 15:06, 7 April 2007 (UTC)

Vote against. It is not a more common name IME, and plumb bob (should not be hyphenated!) relates nicely to Bob (physics) and Pendulum. --Belg4mit 18:29, 28 May 2007 (UTC)
