Adding this to Management and Operations research categories pending related plan/planning articles that will refer to it. --Rev Prez 07:59, 30 May 2005 (UTC)

I can't believe there's a wikipedia article for the word "plan". This should probably be in the dictionary instead.

I think there's an article b/c it's a fundamental human activity, and it's also part of many jobs (and in some cases, it is the job). BCSharp 02:13, 17 January 2007 (UTC)

The "main article" on Planning is lame. The infobox in that article implies some connection to cognitive neurosciences, but the bulk of the text is about public policy planning. I wonder whether there really is any point in having an article about context-free planning, planning in the abstract. That question would include both "plan" and "planning". What about a plan in the 'blueprint' sense?Nfe (talk) 21:45, 22 January 2008 (UTC)
