Plantation Records

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Plantation Records was a record label started by Shelby Singleton. The label is best-known for the Jeannie C. Riley 45rpm single, "Harper Valley P.T.A."

Singleton, who established at least two other labels (SSS International and Amazon), purchased Sun Records from Sam Phillips in 1969.
