[edit] Notability

It is would nice if someone could add, a list of plays written and adapted by Piyush Mishra during his stint with Act One in New Delhi. Thanks... —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Ekabhishek (talkcontribs) 18:03, August 21, 2007 (UTC).

The proposed deletion of this article has been contested with comment: "Content is true and relevant". I do not quite agree:

  • For showing notability (relevance) of the subject, nontrivial independent sources are required by WP:BIO. An simple IMDB entry is usually considered trivial and does not establish notability. (IMDB's inclusion standards are rather low.)
  • Articles must be verifiable ("true", but not quite), and so they need reliable sources for what they state. Leaving open the question whether IMDB is reliable, the article actually contains more than the IMDB entry confirms.
  • Verifiability is relevant in particular for biographies of living persons, see WP:BLP.

I will re-add the notability tag, plus some other tags requesting sources and cleanup of the text. Perhaps someone wil find sources for this actor. Also, I will add the article to the relevant WikiProjects to attract editors. --B. Wolterding 08:29, 3 August 2007 (UTC)
