I am not interested in literature, language, or culture of any specific region, state or nation, rather in what is good in all of them individually and collectively, as they represent humanity for us all, and that's what every literature deems to express. So if it talks of humanity, then I am interested, otherwise language experts and experts of literature or a specific culture or subject bore me, with their myopic vision of the world. I am here to enrich myself, as the world offers so much avenues to do so, and this I believe is one of them...So if you are here to become a better human being, you are welcome to engage here, but if you are here to become an expert, spare me your company as you'd only want to teach me, not be my company! We learn through inspiration more than with instruction. So let's be open, and clear in our intents in our being here, and here on this planet!

---Life is about beliefs, put into behaviour, and not beliefs per se, because, true 'spiritual' life is, a life that allows 'spirit' in action, thoughts and deeds.

Otherwise it is all talk, and talks don't change life, only inspiration does.

"Spirit is as spirit does." The truth is not that we are divine beings but how much of that divinity so we allow to be expressed through our everyday life and its varied choices.

So, the more divinity we allow into the physical life, the better spiritual being we become, and naturally so does our life, and what is divinity if not the presence Love and its Light, shining through each one of our actions, choices or thoughts!

Love n Light

My main interest at wiki is human history, of human beings who have surpassed their circumstances and create something new out of themselves, I am always looking for such inspiring people, and what better way to work on their biographies.

On the side, I like exploring Indian cinema, especially from its golden era, 50s-70s, and the Indian art cinema, a oft neglected genre, by many. I believe, who would make the future generation proud about who we were, if not us. It is our responsibly to leave behind roots deep enough, to help the coming generations, stand tall enough withut having to fear being swept off by winds, of turbulence and chaos, their lives will inevitably bring to them, so that they grow stronger not weaker, better not bitter, from their life experiences, and always have people to look up to, who have gone much tougher times, and not just survived but triumped.

Above all I am inspired by the tremendous human spirit, that we have harbour, after all the spark divine, lies within us all.

Namaste,

Imagine the day when Gandhi, Martin Luther King Jr., or Nelson Medela would become distant memories, perhaps so distant that human beings would stop believing in such higher possibilities in human beings, as that has what happened to Ram, Jesus and Buddha. While some turn them into Gods and the rest into fiction, forgetting that they were also born as human beings, just as we have. So we have the onus of taking the human possibity to a much greater high, they have already shown the way through thier biographies, more than their owrds.

Lest we forget.

I like to explore the ancient Indian history and its vast wealth of wisdom, especially that connected with Hinduism, as it is in danger to turning into a myth, for our present generation and hence for the future.

When Ram stops being a historic king, and becomes merely a character in an epic or a literary figure, we stop believing in the possibility of a human being possessing such qualities, and thus a possibility of living his ideals, because if his ideals become a myth, so will the Ram. Then we just might turn him to a God, rather than viewing him as human being with divine qualities, hence revered across the Indian subcontinent.

When we turn human beings into God, we usually try to distance ourselves from them, so that no one can hold us to those standards, then we might fight over them, but never try to emulate them in our everyday lives. We might quote them often, but seldom live as they did. That is when we start fighting over Ram, Buddha, or Jesus or Mohammad, over temples, churches and mosques we have built in their names, and the book we call holy, but seldom follow them ourselves, but expect the world to. Instead of seeking their divinity let's first seek their humanity, as that would be a good start, for all of us.

So, let us keep Ram a living example for us for if Ram dies, so does the possibility of us transcending our human existence and reaching out for touch and embrace our own divinity. His living memory, is the tradition of human possibities. That is what GoswamiTulsidas presents to us in his epic Ramacharitamanas, the charitr (persona) of Ram as a manas (human being), because he wanted to show the people of his times, the possibity of living the life befitting the divine, within each on us.
